Video Scripts: Customer Service Representative

Below is a bank of questions that we have found to be critical pieces of information which bosses want to know about their potential employees.

Select the most appropriate and most flattering questions which will highlight your best attributes and answer them in a comfortable, relaxed way which shows who you really are!

Below the bank of questions we have provided 1 example for each job type but remember, YOU are an individual so make this presentation your own!!

Background:

As we now know, a customer service representative is the face of the company when in a customer service facing role, therefore, how you relate to people is of the utmost importance. Keep this in mind when answering the below questions and ensure you always bring the content of your video presentation and CV towards setting, meeting and exceeding clients expectations. It is very important to let your personality show through and demonstrate those traits that make you good at what you do.


Questions:

  • What is your name?
  • How long have you worked in client service roles?
  • Why have you chosen this profession?
  • What do you love about it and why?
  • What achievements or awards have you been given since performing these roles?
  • What sets you apart from other customer service agents?
  • What do other people say about your professionalism, friendliness, approach or other characteristics?
  • Have you worked in more than one client focused industry, and if so what did this teach you about adapting yourself to different clients / needs?
  • Why would someone want you on their team? (this is a good opportunity to mention your personality traits and why that makes you good at what you do)

     

Sample Script:

My name is Amy Jane Wheeler; currently I am working as a customer service representative for MBA Insurance and have more than five years of experience in this field. My past experience and success indicates strengths in call center working environment, being focused on several duties at hand/expediency, playing leadership roles within the centre and solving customers problems. I enjoy resolving problems, taking challenges and being a part of the business growth factor. If you are looking for the person that puts out fires and improves service levels then I would like to join your company. If you are seeking a professional customer service provider to promote customer satisfaction, you have found one. Outside of work is spent raising awareness for Juvenile Diabetes. Thank you very much for your time and consideration and hope to hear from you soon.
