Background:
This position relies heavily on qualifications which are an absolute must combined with experience gained whilst studying and confirmation of ability just as important. With this in mind, highlight your relevant qualifications and then the extent of your experience within the profession you are applying for. Mentioning the scope of work you've done and varying contexts will give your listener a good idea of the broad spectrum to which you can offer.

Sample Script:
My name is Brian Knight; I have recently graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Marketing majoring in media and digital marketing. I have experience working in an online marketing environment as the intern at AllMedia.com.au, a government website that overseas media development in Australia. The combination of working while studying has given me the theoretical and practical knowledge of marketing and advertising in the digital domain. I currently subscribe to B2B Marketing magazine and am a member of AIMIA, both of which help keep me in touch with the latest developments in the industry and allow me to interact with other marketing and advertising professionals. As the position with you is predominantly in digital marketing, I am confident that I can make a substantial contribution to your company. I work well under pressure, am reliable and carry out tasks in a thorough, precise manner. I am a fast learner and meet challenges head-on finding ways to effectively complete multiple projects –as my referees will vouch for. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my education and experience will be helpful to you.
